- My first book is underway. The working title is “Operation Adolescence: Parenting Teens with Calm, Confident Leadership.” I am passionate about helping teens, their parents, and their families grow in understanding, purpose, respect, and peace in their lives and relationships. This book reflects that passion, as well as my two core beliefs regarding teens and their parents: 1. Every teen wants to live well. 2. Every parent has what it takes to be the leader their teen needs.
- I am a monthly regular on the “Parenting 101″ segment of WAFB’s morning news at 6:15. My interviews with Jeanne Burns and Matt Williams are the last Tuesday of each month. Check out my “Parenting 101″ page for more insights into the topics I have discussed on the air.
- Several great ongoing groups are available at Parkview Baptist Church, including groups for overcoming drug addiction, building stronger marriages, grief and divorce recovery, and overcoming sexual addiction. Click here for more information.
